"This table was brought to the Lyndon House by my Great-great grandmother, Delphia Hampton Brown, who was a 1st cousin of Wade Hampton, when she moved to the Lyndon House. It was used as a candle table at the bottom of the staircase. The ceramic candlestick was also hers, but I'm keeping it."
