Description

Empire secretary with bookcase; probably made in Clarke County, Georgia area; regional features include raised panels on drawer fronts, wooden mushroom knobs,; side scroll columns; feet are recessed scrolls; bookcase has double glazed doors with large single panes of glass; interior is wide pine boards; large raked cornice is typical of Clarke County area 1840-1860.
