Wax Flower Arrangement
Title
Wax Flower Arrangement
Description
Victorian wax flower arrangement in sealed oval shaped glass dome. The base of the dome appears to be walnut with a groove in which the dome rests. Four ball feet are semi-concealed beneath the stand. The tall glass dome is cracked on the back left side, currently stabilized by glue. Inside is a white parian ware vase ornamented with grape clusters and leaves. The vase contains an arrangement of multi-colored leaves wired to four sprays of limbs. Several limbs droop downward and others at various angles to create a Victorian bouquet effect. Several individual leaves lie at the foot of the vase.
Original tools and was supplies which were used in making this arrangement are also included.
