Title

Girandole Set (Three Pieces)

Description

An elaborate central three-arm girandole with two single-column girandoles, all on marble plinth-form bases. Jenny Lind pattern of gilded brass. Supports for prisms are oval shaped but different from most candlesticks of Jenny Lind style. Simple candle sockets would indicate this set was not made by Cornelius Company, which produced most of the girandole sets of this pattern. Prisms are star cut "colonial" drops and buttons, likely original to the pieces.
