Sideboard

A mahogany-veneered Empire sideboard with a single wide drawer over a cabinet with two doors. The rectangular top over a frieze drawer with rounded front - the shape conforming in the case. A larger drawer with lock and two turned knobs conforms with the recessed cabinet below. The locking, paneled doors open to reveal a compartment with a shaped, full-width shelf. Two decorative corner columns stand on plinth bases over large lion-paw feet. With rear bracket feet.
