Description
Transitional Greek Revival to American Rococo style. White marble slab top with shaped marble edges. Large ogee cornice veneered in highly figured flame mahogany and conceals two drawers. Three doors below the drawers have Rococo carved corner brackets inset in rectangular panels. All surfaces have highly figured mahogany veneers on center panels and exterior flat moldings. The corners are rounded to plain once piece sides. The base cornice is Rococo in style. Rolled molding follows the curved shaped skit. Center cornice, below the middle door has a centered crest end tapered side "leaves," into the carved molding. Wooden rollers under each leg.
