Late 19th century gas light (converted to electric). Lighting similar to this was used in all rooms and hallways. Electric lighting was not used until the 1880s and may have come from a small electric generator on the left side of the house.

Beautiful hand-made formal dress, pre-WWI. This dress is typical of what female residents of the Ware-Lyndon house would have worn.
