Simple Empire style footstool. Possible an early 20th century copy or revival piece of the 19th century original. It is upholstered in a needlepoint of flowers on a black background.
This piece was probably used in the Lyndon House around the turn of the century. The needlepoint work was done by Moselle Lyndon's daughters, Moselle Chick Hodgson.
