Description
Old Paris scent bottle. White rectangular bottle has mushroom shaped stopper on which is painted a small bouquet of flowers. Each side of bottle is magenta color with gilded decorations. One side has oval center medallion with painted flowers similar to those on stopper. Unusual large size.
Such scent bottlers were fashionable gifts for young women in the 19th century.
