Fashion Prints (set of 4)

Description

Four lithograph fashion prints. These hand-colored prints were used decoratively and as patterns for dressmakers in the mid-19th century. The bell-shaped skirts were popularizing the newly fashionable crinolines. Unframed.
Titles: Cauchoise; Cauchoise; Costume de Lisieux; Costume de Etrapagny
Name of etcher printed on each: "Gatine Sculp."
