Description
Small rug, handmade with natural vegetable dyes. Large center panel incorporating a repeating organic motif. The border with a repeating geometric motif. Blue and red fields, with gray. Well worn. Origin unknown.
This style area rug was often used in Colonial revival interiors when hardwood floors were becoming fashionable.
